Our process starts with a call or text to 859-760-9839 to speak with Justin.

After brief call, he will gather all the information and help ensure that you’ve considered everything for the decision to cremate your pet.

Then the actual process will begin with you bringing us your pet to state-of-the-art facility which is conveniently located just minutes off of I-71/75, or with us picking up your pet from your home or Vet’s office. After we have your pet, we will communicate with you throughout the cremation process to keep your updated, and to ensure that we return your pet’s ashes as quickly as possible.

While veterinary clinics excel at medical care, their cremation services are almost always outsourced to large, high-volume commercial providers who operate on rigid pickup schedules. By choosing Precious Memories, you ensure your pet never spends days waiting in a clinic storage freezer and is always treated like family until they are back home with you. We will personally coordinate pickup with you in relation to your vet appointment time, and communicate directly with you when we have them in our care.

If you want them, you will have them!  It is a very personal decision whether to get memorial items from your pet, and the team at Precious Memories will walk you through the decision, and follow your wishes.  Requests for multiples of the same memorial item may incur an additional fees.

Yes.  Precious Memories does offer to pickup your pet.  Any cost associated with picking up your pet relates to distance from our cremation facility and current costs to transport (i.e. gas prices). Some local areas and vet office pickups have no cost.  Please reach out to Justin at 859-760-9839 to discuss any fees based on your pickup location.

No.  Euthanizations require a vet license.  In our effort to provide you with every manner of support you may need, Precious Memories will refer you to Mobile Vets and Vet Offices with whom we have a personal relationship with and would use personally.  We have providers we highly recommend who will come to your home AND traditional vet offices where you may take them to help crossing the Rainbow Bridge.

Unlike other cremation facilities, PRECIOUS MEMORIES DOES NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION IN ANY FORM for recommending someone to help with Euthanasia.  We do not get paid a referral fee and have no standing agreements with vets we refer that they will bring us your pet for cremation if you have them euthanize your pet after our referral.

Your choice for the cremation of your pet is yours....we refer only to help you....Not Ourselves.
